Hi PK, do you have any of your Clust-o-matic's at the moment? I need one for a project.
Cheers, €Luke.

I could probably put one together. Might take a couple of weeks to get some PCB's made though. I'll dig out the files..

If you are getting the boards made up, sign me up for two while you are at it.

Only if you have to get the boards made, I probably won't require them till thunda but figure if you are getting boards made I might as well get in now.

Re: clust-o-matic
OK, sounds like it might be worth doing a batch. I'll post progress.

Thanks mate, No rush.. its a big project. I can probably find another half dozen customers for them if you want PK?
Re: clust-o-matic
I bought and never used a clustomatic years ago, and have subsequently misplaced the unit I had. Put me down for a replacement unit if you need the numbers for a new order PK.

Sorry guys, but I've made the decision to step back (further) from hobby rocketry. This means no more making stuff for folks.
The build thread for the clust-o-matic has the schematics and parts, you should be able to put some together.
PK out...

Not anymore, sadly.
Seems all the offsite hosted images/files etc have gone.

Oh really.. bugger, I was really looking forward to being able to air start a half dozen motors. Thanks anyway PK, I will see if I can find something somewhere else unless someone has one they could sell me.. it will be going to a very cool/crazy rocket.

If you don't have any serious space constraints I could do a reasonable approximation one with about $20 worth of bits from Jaycar in an hour or two - but it wouldn't be as small or as neat as a PCB.
I'd have to revisit a circuit but basically as I recall a trigger input for some FETs to handle the current for the igniters?
PK - coupla questions:
- read the "whooshtronics" stuff - by "smart FET" you mean the ON Semi parts?
- did you sequence the FETs or chop them or just fire them all at once and hope the power supply is up to it?

so I found a few of the older threads and to answer my own question, yes, it's like the ones ON Semi (and others) make... but still can find a circuit...

Re: clust-o-matic
IIRC, the Clust-O-Matic was good for 50V, 11Amp per channel (N-Channel SFET).

Re: clust-o-matic
From what I could find they used a NIF5003N smartFET 42v 14A.
