Clubs that launch Hybrids in Victoria?

Postby darkage » Sun Aug 17, 2008 9:42 pm

Hi all,

Im a newbie interested in getting into model rocketry especially hybrids.

Was just wondering if there are any clubs in Victoria that I could visit to see these things launch :)

Along with 'The Wombat' aka 'eatsrootsshootsleaves' I purchased a 'micro hybrid' a while back, but until very recently I've had no recovery options and I don't like the idea of using it only for saucers.

I've now got a magnetic apogee detector so will shortly start work on a rocket for the hybrid - perhaps in a month or so I'll be ready to put it up.

Keep an eye on the MMRG page and I'll make an announcement prior to launch :)

If you go to the main Tripoli page http://www.tripoli.org/prefecture/prefaus.shtml you will find an email address for David Wilkins who runs the prefecture there.

He will be away for about the next 4 weeks as I know he attending LDRS and BALLS this year.
