If you go for a swirl injector you will need to protect the chamber wall as oxidiser forced onto an aluminium motor wall will burn through in about 1 second. So your motor will need to carry extra dry weight to gain minimal ISP.

As for 3D printed grains, great in 29mm motors, you can make complex shape grains like double sized star grains, one half 4 pointed other half 8 pointed.
