Today I met with the QLD explosives regulators to discuss logistics of motor supply to flyers attending Thunda Down Under 2015.

I am pleased to say that we have had very positive discussion about implementing a number of systems to manage access to interstate and international flyers that do not hold a QLD explosives license to use.

The regulators are very supportive of the event and have been fantastic to work with. I will post more information as it becomes available.

Any updates regarding this topic for us interstate or international flyers?

An email has been sent to interstate flyers who have indicated they are HPR flyers.

Whilst not a specific requirement, this email outlines an option to obtain a QLD explosives license to assist with the event.

To avoid confusion on the subject, I have sent the information in the email only and not made any unnecessary public posts.
