Hey Goddard , yeah this was a strange one as I was accessing it from 3 different devices . Not 100% sure this made a difference but for the 2 PCs I cleared the cache on my chrome browser , restarted and they started working again and for the phone I stopped using the Samsung internet and swapped to Chrome app and it worked fine.

I did all this weeks ago,I am a member of WARS I sent an email to info@rocketry.org.au no response so then I PMED you with my email address and nothing ,it is doing my head in.I thought that if I joined an affiliated club I became a member of AMRS but apparently this isn't so
.I asked Dave our RSO about the level 2 study guide and he has a hard copy.So I will do my test on paper and not bother with the AMRS website.

OK, can you please resend and send me a pm with the email address and membership number as it was most likely lost in spam if you haven't heard back in that amount of time.

Website seems to have been down for a couple of months now.

I'm just wondering what implications this has on recent Cert L1 members being approved as LCOs if the LCO/RSO exam is not available.

AMRS ceased to exist because it was impossible for it to obtain insurance. I believe most clubs have now gone to Tripoli Rocketry Association. I am not aware of the implications for people with pending certifications but I believe they would likely be honoured.

What state are you in Toni?

Hey ToniC. Given you're a QRS and TRA member I expect you should be able to confirm your certification as well as others via the Membership Directory when authenticated to the Tripoli web site. You'll want "Membership Directory" under "Membership Svcs" to confirm certs.

As for LCO duties, I expect you should speak to your local prefect.

The AMRS RSO / LCO tests will no longer apply for QRS. Please read the safety code information on the Tripoli web site: https://www.tripoli.org/content.aspx?page_id=22&club_id=795696&module_id=520420

Note that the safety code has recently been revised (you should have received an email...)

Once you have read the safety code and met all other requirements (L2 Cert, etc) a current RSO will quiz you on the contents and mentor you for your first few sessions as RSO.

Let me know if you have any questions...

Thank you everyone for responses.
I've confirmed my Cert status on the TRA website.
I'm in Brisbane, Queensland, so I'll refer further discussion on this to QRS forums.

It looks to be each individual Australian club's responsibility to ensure appropriate LCO/RSO approval systems are in place and align with the TRA codes as per crom's response (or the club's insuring/overseeing body), as AMRS no longer has this role.
