AMRS and MDRA Reciprocal Agreement

The AMRS has great pleasure in announcing that it has reached a reciprocal agreement with the Maryland-Delaware Rocketry Association! Members of the AMRS Executive Committee have, over the last week, met with the MDRA Board of Directors to discuss and secure an arrangement that sees the AMRS Certifications accepted at any of the MDRA launches and vice versa. The MDRA accepts certifications from the CAR, NAR, TRA and now AMRS.

The MDRA is one of the most respected clubs in the world with many well-known members such as Bob Utley, Neil McGilvray, Steve Eves, Dan Michael, Mike Passaretti, Fred Wallace and Jerry O'Sullivan. They launch on a monthly basis and their season opening/closing event is the famous "Red Glare" held at the Higgs farm in Maryland. Several members from the AMRS Executive Committee have been to "Red Glare" events and it is highly recommended!

We look forward to an increased level of co-operation and friendship between our organisations!

Great work from the AMRS Committee for all the hard work they put in to making this happen. Hopefully we get to meet some of those well known MDRA fliers at thunda2

Great news Dave. Can you tell me who else we have resiprical agreements with? I can see announcements for NAR and of course now MDRA but there does not appear to be a list as such although this may be sitting inside a document somewhere that I did not open.

This is seriously cool. Ever since I first became involved in rocketry and chatted online with guys like Chuck Rudy, I've always had a deep respect for MDRA.
