Hi guys,
Just wondering how long on average it takes to process a new membership?
I've applied for an associate membership so I can purchase D and E motors but not heard anything since.
I wonder if my emails have been caught by a spam filter or something.

Cheers,
Simon.

Cheers Blake, apologies if the above seemed to have some attitude, that was not the intent!

If it helps, I just checked Outlook and the application and payment to info@ were sent on the 18th June.

Looks like someone beat me to the last of the Hobbyline hardware, so no rush, will be waiting a while for that to get restocked.

Cheers Matt!
BTW, I have double checked and my original application 5 weeks ago was to the correct account, .org.au

Have resent today's email to .org.au this time
What an idiot! hahaha

BTW, I had assumed the online form would very likely also go to the info@ email address, but I'll give that a go too.
Cheers.

8 weeks now and still nothing.
This is rediculous.

Blake, can I buy hardware without a club membership?
Pretty sure it's only the reloads right?
I see stock is getting low and I don't want to miss out.
I've already missed out on the Hobbyline hardware.

Viking,

I am not sure where you got your information about the hardware/reloads, however you can buy up to 'G' impulse without any issue.

As for the AMRS membership, I personally sent you a reply after your email on 24/07. I will re-forward this in case it has been lost in cyberspace somewhere.

Many thanks Blake,
There's so much conflicting and confusing information on the net about what is 'legal' here in the west.
The stores I've visited will not sell you anything larger than a C6 motor if you are not a member of a 'recognised' club.
The DMP deregulated in 2012 to allow anything up to 62.5 grams propellant, apparently no one got the memo, so trying to argue this point with the stores falls on deaf ears. After all, I'm just Joe Public trying to get his way, without a membership card to flash, so obviously I'm making all this up to get what I want, even though it would take them 2 minutes to check the DMP website and see for themselves

One hobby store owner told me he even had 'club' members(he didn't say which club) visit him and abuse him in front of customers for selling Estes D and E motors.

Anyway, rant over. I was just trying to get membership to keep these local stores happy and avoid hazmat freight charge on this small stuff.

I've just rechecked my spam folders and can't find any email, please resend to either of the following:
mrbungle at westnet com au or
sihw at semcomaritime com

BTW, I'll shoot an order thru later today, one more question tho.
Even tho the CTI pro38 starter kit suits some higher impulse than 'G', I'm still ok to purchase this starter hardware to use with 1G reloads and spacers? That is, no resriction on purchasing hardware, only the reloads?
Cheers again.

Cheers Scoop, Dave also invited me via email to a WARS launch.
I have wanted to come see some HPR for a while now but have missed the last few launch dates due to prior commitments (and I occasionally work weekends).
I would like to get to a launch before the end of the year, things are starting to get quiet at work so I could possibly talk the missus into a trip down to Williams, maybe even Grass Valley if I promise her a side-trip to York!

When I get the itch to go for the L1 cert WARS may well have a new recruit, for now though I think medium power at the family farm should keep me entertained for a while.

Cheers again.
