Well it's been a year (wow) since the last update to this thread, does anyone have any updates that they would like to share?

Killer stack OTT.

I plan on keeping it simple. Minimum diameter. Single break. DD. 4 fin. Carbon airframes and fins. FG (Performance Rocketry) VK nosecones. Should be fun.

54mm bird will fly on a L935.

75mm rocket will fly on a M2245.

Motors have been sitting in Blake's store for over a year now. In fact IIRC he's been holding the L935 for me since before ARTDU2015. Time to light these candles!

Got a few things left to purchase before I start building. Plus I've got to finish setting up my new shed. :D

I plan on making an attempt at breaking the AMRS L motor altitude record. The M motor record, well, that's probably not as easily within reach!

Perhaps, will have to see. I'm more inclined to building a high performing rocket then simply one with a big motor.
So perhaps it will end up something like an MD with a big K in it? Looking at options for a curing oven ATM.

It's possible to combine the two... My L3 was a MD airframe. :D

I think you've got the right idea. However while I think I should be able to do an L3 with my current eperience, I don't have the MD experience id like to do a MD L3.

That's a fair call then. I had already flown MD airframes heaps of times before I did my L3. That said I'm sure you're more than capable of handling the issues around MD flights. And if you have any questions, I'm more than willing to listen and then ask others who know more than me what they think! :D
