Some guys at work, knowing I was growing into a rocket nerd, asked if I knew of the propulsion system for V2.
A Pulsejet.
No I did not.
and they sent me a link of some (Crazy!) guys experimenting.

V2 was definitely not a pulse jet. It's a proper liquid rocket motor the first of its size by a long shot which was made possible by ustilise a turbo pump.

The V1 "buzzbomb" was the pulsejet.
Have a look at pulse-jet go-karts if you are interested. If you want to see something really scary look up steam-powered go-karts
The V2 is a fully-fledged liquid fueled rocket engine, running on alcohol (plus some water to keep the temperatures down) and LOX. This was the first man-made object into space.
