Where to buy launch rail?

Postby Legendontour » Mon Jan 27, 2020 2:42 pm

I’m needing to put some PML linear launch lugs on a 38mm Min Diam rocket I have built for Havoc in the Paddock in NZ in a couple of weeks.

Looking online it suggests I check the position of them while they are curing with a piece of launch rail.

Any ideas where to buy it? I’m on the Sunshine Coast and unlikely you get to Brisbane before next week so was hoping maybe Bunnings, but can’t see it on their website.

Have you emailed Blake to see if he actually has any?

Could probably just send them out in a regular envelope

If you are just trying to align the lugs you could use a straight edge of some sort. That's what I used on my Nike Smoke. Another alternative would be to borrow a rail from a club.

I need the rail. I have the lugs. After no luck at a couple of local aluminium fabricators, I’ve glued them with a straight edge. Might all be pointless though as Blake told me today that the motor order for Havoc won’t arrive in time. Prob just gonna be spectating. Gutted
